Letter from Supervisory Committee
Your current Supervisory Committee members are Kay Catron, Dan Doyle and Virginia Catron, having been appointed by the Board of Directors. I would like to take this time to thank Dan and Virginia for volunteering their time and effort. It's people like this that help make the Credit Union run smoothly.
Want to get involved in your Credit Union! If you are interested in volunteering, you can let anyone of your Board Members know or your friendly staff members. The committee oversees the financial operation of your Credit Union and insures that they conform to the NCUA rules and regulations. They are responsible for monitoring all the Credit Union's financial activities. The responsibilities include performing surprise cash counts, verifying closed accounts, maintaining the new member roster, conducting the annual verification of all member account roster, conducting the annual verification of all member account balances, and engaging an outside agency to conduct an annual audit. This audit has been completed with no major discrepancies.
We look forward to 2011 to be a great year for our credit union. Thanks to all our board of director's for their dedication and time that they give to the Credit Union and to the employees who provide our members great service with a smile, you are greatly appreciated. The conscientious efforts of Terry and her staff make the Supervisory Committee's work go smoothly.
